Settlement Monitoring
A Precise Level is used to obtain readings from settlement markers to monitor the amount and rate of settlement of a building or ground over a period of time.

Inclinometer Installation & Monitoring
A slope inclinometer is used to detect and monitor the lateral earth movements in embankments and landslide areas, deflections of retaining walls and piles, and deformations of excavation walls, tunnels and shafts. The collected data is plotted graphically to show any lateral movements over a period of time.
The data obtained from Settlement Monitoring and/or Inclinometer monitoring is used to predict impending damage so that remedial work can be carried out before structural failure occurs.
There two types of inclinometers:
- Conventional Inclinometer – A manual probe system lowered inside a grooved casing to measure subsurface displacement at different depths. Ideal for periodic monitoring of slope or wall movement.
- Automated Inclinometer – A new generation inclinometer for continuous and real-time monitoring that feature wireless inclinometer sensors, IoT data transmission, and cloud-based access. They match the accuracy of manual systems while offering easy installation, waterproof protection, and automated alerts for early warning of movement or deformation.

Piezometer Monitoring
Piezometer Monitoring measures pore water pressure and groundwater levels. It supports the assessment of slope stability, seepage control, and foundation performance in embankments, retaining walls, tunnels, and dams.
Types of Available Piezometers
- Vibrating Wire Piezometer
- Standpipe Piezometer
- Optical FBG Piezometer
Applications
- Borehole profiling monitoring
- Slope and embankment stability monitoring
- Dam, reservoir and tunnel seepage assessment
- Groundwater response to rainfall
