Solutions For Foundation Testing & Monitoring
PDA Test
HIGH STRAIN DYNAMIC PILE TESTING (PDA TEST)
(conforms to ASTM D4945)
Utilizes the Pile Driving Analyzer®. The PDA test evaluates activated bearing capacity, hammer performance, driving stresses and pile integrity. PDA Testing is quick, low cost and reliable.
CAPWAP ®
CAPWAP (Case Pile Wave Analysis Program) is the software that models force and velocity data measured by the PDA to determine soil responses.
PIT Test
LOW STRAIN PILE INTEGRITY TESTING (PIT TEST)
(conforms to ASTM D5882)
Utilizes the Pile Integrity Tester (PIT). PIT Test detects potentially dangerous defects such as major cracks, necking, soil inclusions or voids by pulse echo or transient response methods. It is fast, economical and effective.
Noise & Vibration Measurement
Calibrated Seismographs and Class 1 Sound Level Meters are used to measure and monitor vibrations and noise levels during pile installation, boing activities or blasting.
Instrumented Pile Load Test
(Maintained Load Test, Lateral and Tension Load Test)
Various equipment such as load cells, LVDTs, Vibrating Wire Strain Gauges (VWSG), data loggers are used in measuring pile head settlement, shaft friction and end bearing. For continuous measurement of the strain profile, Distributed Fiber Optic Strain Sensors (DFOSS) are used.
DFOSS
The Distributed Fiber Optic Sensing Technology (DFOSS) is offering new possibilities in geotechnical and structural health monitoring. The DFOSS allows the acquisition of a significant amount of precise relative strain and temperature measurements.
